Mycelium Networking Installation 1.0

In real life, the vast mycelium network prompts us to reflect on how we are all interconnected and rely on each other to survive. What those connections look like, and how they can be utilised to solve problems. How we can grow beneath the surface. How we can adapt, persist, evolve. What conditions are needed to reveal ourselves.

In this interactive installation, you are encouraged to reflect upon this, and build their own network - literally!! You can share a book recommendation. Take a Polaroid. Write a haiku. Draw a picture. Share your feelings. Take a moment to breathe. Have fun. Respond to others. Imagine a better world. Be creative. Connect.

The Mycelium Networking Space was first developed for Mad Hearts 2023.

SED EDI Funding has been awarded to Emilia to run this installation at Mad Hearts 2024.
